At the December 14, 2022, Board Meeting the South Adams County Water & Sanitation District Board of Directors approved a 4% increase in water rates and a 4% increase in wastewater rates effective January 1, 2023. The SACWSD water and wastewater rates are established to provide water and wastewater services to the community, as well as maintain and operate the District water and wastewater systems.

The Board of Directors has also approved a decrease to the centralized water softening fee. Effective January 1, 2023, the new centralized water softening fee will be $4.09. This fee is necessary for the District to meet the bond requirements of the Water Softening Project.
